Screening intelligence beyond the safety score
01The problem with screening on safety scores
A safety score reflects inspection history recorded under one DOT number. It describes a registration, not an operation. A carrier that re-registers under a new number starts clean, with no inspection history to weigh and no out-of-service record attached, which is the point of doing it. Screening that rests on that score cannot see the difference between a carrier with a short history and a carrier that has reset one.
02What we add
Entity resolution across shared addresses, phone numbers, email domains, registered officers, and vehicle identification numbers, so that operations connected across registrations can be seen as connected. Alongside that, revocation lineage and insurer history: which prior authorities were revoked, in what order, and which insurers wrote and cancelled the coverage. The output is a risk signal delivered alongside whatever screening decision the agency already makes.
03How it is delivered
A commercial data subscription, provided as structured records and an interface for review. ScaledVerifi does not make, direct, or recommend enforcement decisions. What is done with a signal is entirely the agency's determination under its own authority and process.
